CLACKAMAS, Ore. -- A women’s footwear fetish has landed a man in hot water with the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office.
An individual was asking women shoppers at Clackamas Target to let him place shoes on their feet, according to Detective Jim Strovink. Once the women agreed he then allegedly touched them “inappropriately.”
This man may be prowling the Clackamas Target footwear department.
Target officials said the man had visited the store frequently this week. The suspect was caught on in-store surveillance cameras.
At least one victim told sheriff’s deputies the man claimed he wanted an opinion on “how the shoes felt” before buying them for a girlfriend.
Another woman told security guards he’d used the same line on her -- except he claimed the shoes were for his wife.
“Offensive physical contact ensues when the shoes start to go on the victims’ feet,” Strovink reported.
Anyone with information on the suspect was urged to contact the sheriff’s office.
