Since we're on the subject, does anyone know any CD rippers (prefferably one that allows you to turn songs on a CD into wave files) which work well that I can download?
I have a few, but there's always a scratchy sound. If the programs are not the problem, do you know what might be wrong with my computer? I recently upgraded my hard drive, so it can't be that. Can it be my sound card or something?
Thank you.

The only problem with pop-up stopper is it kills ALL pop-up windows. Even links that open in new windows, you gotta hold down shift for it to open.

If you wanna kill gator then you should get Ad-aware. It scans your comp for programs that generate pop ups and then lets you delete um.

POW isn't like that. You choose the pop ups you want to kill.

So Pop Up Stopper is the best way to go? I downloaded Morpheus and after that, I started gettin' pop-ups from everywhere. Its really annoying.

If there's a better program that gets rid of pop ups, let me know.

First thing you should do, is get rid of Morpheus, and get Kazaa Lite K++. Morpheus puts adware on your computer causing the pop-ups. Use either Ad-aware 6 or Spybot Search & Destroy to get rid of your current adware.

:siccness: i juss noticed i dont get pop ups when i read this shit hahaa...ever since i got this Netscape browser...oh shit thats dope :siccness:
Another good browser is Opera. I use that alot from time to time, especially when going to sites that may have pop-ups. Plus the browser tabs windows for you, so you dont have a whole crapload of them sittin on your taskbar.

Guess I'll go ahead and try Ad-adware.

Either its me, or SpyBot Search & Destroy doesn't seem to be workin'. I'm still gettin' the Stop sign on my homepage and the D: and E: drives keep opening, even after it tells me the problems have been fixed.

Can anyone tell me if I'm doing something wrong?
