photoshop problem

wazz up,

i got the problem with a photoshop, any additional help would be appreciated.

I have got a background picture and there is a text over it. now I would like to put away a text and only have a background. but the problem is that its only one layer and the file is jpg type. because i know if it was a photoshop file i could get rid of it. so what shall i do to put it away.

i cant really make the background out....isnt it just writing? if so just make it yourself........if u need help, please feel free to hit me up on AIM: tadow904 and ill walk u through...........

yeah the only thing to do would be to recreate. Unless you have a solid color behind an object removing it will just leave you with a big hole. sometimes you can use the clone tool to fill in the gaps, but only under the right conditions.
