Bernard should win. I think he'll score a few knockdowns in this fight to take a decision. LOL @ Pavlik not being "thrilled" for the fight.

Crazy, crazy fight.

I think Hopkins lateral movement and defense will be enough to keep the fight close, also Pavliks lack of any real defense will keep him open for counter rights all night. However the simple fact that Hopkins is 43 years old and showed his age against Calzaghe (a fight he could have easily of won if he had the stamina) and Pavlik is only 26, my gut tells my Pavlik should be able to out-work Hopkins and win off points. It would be an ugly win for pavlik and it doesn't prove anything since bhop is 43 and past his prime, but a win is a win I suppose and he can use the experience against a cagey veteran.

I'll be rooting for bhop though, he's a ring technician and he's accomplished the impossible several times before. can never rule him out.

Pavlik will make B-hop work but we know B-hop will slow the fight down and make it a more technical fight. I say B-Hop will win because he'll score 2 knockdowns and get some real good counter shots in.

I was extremely confident that bhop would beat calzaghe but he showed his age and slowed down considerably in the late rounds. That's one thing I'm worried about. If he does that again, and if it's close, he'll lose the decision guaranteed. The only way they would give hopkins a decision over the young undefeated future of boxing is if he really whoops his ass and like I said I don't know if bhop has enough in the tank to put on an offensive show.

Yeah I feel you... the only reason Calzaghe won was because of the work rate... that's it. He landed one good straight left hand and it didn't even stun Hopkins. Hopkins was never hurt. I picked Calzaghe in that fight but it could have went either way. I thought Hopkins was going to knock Calzaghe out... he should of jumped on him after he knocked him down.

But anyway we'll see what happens in this one... I know for a fact Hopkins won't lose to Pavlik, because Pavlik is too one-dimensional.
