muthafuckas leak individual songs before it comes out. i know that technology is better than ever, and a lotta people will say that "theres nothin u can do about it, its just gonna happen anyway"...but there are ways to avoid that.

albums like the team album would be "more dope" in peoples eyes if they hadnt heard the songs already, but people dont buy it because theyve heard most of the songs already. i dont blame that on the team, or the managment, i blame that on people passin shit around. just my two cents.

I hear you, people only got themselves to blame. If there is a thread that says NEW TEAM SONG FROM ALBUM, then if you go download it then how you gona complain that the album aint fresh enough and you heard half of it before?

But if the radio plays half an album then i think the artists need to either restrict how much songs they get aired or make a longer album.

In Thizz though recycling is a total different thing. They use the same song on at least four cds some times, there is no excuse for that. Thats just being cheap, once or twice is okay if the cd it was on first didnt sell well since maybe not many people heard it but 'Rappers Island' is just taking the £$%^.

im not necessarily just about thizz^^^not in response to ur post...

all im sayin is, when fans say "shits recycled", they usually mean that they ALREADY HAVE 4 songs on their computer that were radio rips, from myspace, etc., from the upcoming album, not that it was just on other albums.

well, you're talking about tracks being recycled and being leaked, which is two completely different things...team has WAY too many songs leaked....I'm sure all of them won't be on the album, but they have to know that alot of it is either their fault or their label's fault....there's no other way it would be leaked unless someone actually posted or handed out the album themselves....its one thing if somehow an album gets into the wrong hands and they put it on the net...but its different if every month or few weeks they let loose a new song on the radio or internet, eventually you'll have too many tracks from your album out there and noone will want to buy the shit for the 5 new songs and the 10 songs they already downloaded....but then again, artists tend to record 40+ tracks per album, then pick & choose which they're gonna put out....those that aren't chosen might be the leaked ones....at least I hope so in team's case

its all math. when you have a grip of people in the loop mixing and engineering your tracks, then its easier for 'em to get loose. everyone got pro tools which means anytime you record someplace your track is sitting on some chumps computer. next thing you know they got their buddies over and start smoking then, "hey, you gotta here this."

But also, people close to you be the ones that can hurt you tha most, you feel me. partna of mine was working on a single and let his girl have a copy cause she was feelin it, next thing you know some other n!gga two cities away dropped the same song. turns out his own girl shared the track with a busta and my boy got played.

that's just the game.
