That's right, Ebay will have a strong competitor in the near future. Overstock.com now has auctions, their system is extremely similar to Ebay's. They have lower fees and that's all a seller needs to hear to sell at overstock.com. Demand is growing vastly in the auction department at overstock.com and they're installing new computers and upgrading to meet the needs of their customers. In a few weeks, expect big things from overstock.com.

it might have lower fees but your auction might end at a helluva lot lower price since they don't have the reputation and customer base of ebay. i'll probably look to buy on there and then resell it on ebay lol. who knows, maybe it'll take off...

Yet another one of the many wannabe ebay sites that will flop. Hopefullyn not, but I have seen too many other ones just like this come and go. Ebay shouldn't worry at all. Too many customers on ebay, bottom line.

considering yahoo and amazon auctions dont take off more then they do, im sure this wont do all that well either....I would love an other alternative to ebay but ebay is so deep in the game right now, its hard to take market share from them
