Well, it was just another day playing tourist for Oprah Winfrey. Not one to rest easy, the relentless TV star overcame her fear of climbing the Coathanger, to emerge at the bottom fist-pumping and boasting: "We did it".
Almost unrecognisable in the compulsory BridgeClimb overalls, Winfrey reached the summit with friend Gayle King, security detail and ultimate viewers about 10.30am.
She'd expressed fear at facing the steep climb, but her ear-to-ear smile said it all when she was snapped at the apex by a circling helicopter.
The trek left the star peckish so she slipped down to Bondi's famed Icebergs Dining Room for lunch.
As 50 of her fans were having surfing lessons below, a buzzing Winfrey said after fuelling up: "I had the most delicious beef salad. I asked the chef for the recipe and he gave it to me."
And party spies report there was no velvet rope keeping the billionaire at bay: She was out there and happily shaking her booty during Guy Sebastian's four-song set.
"She had not heard Guy before and just loved him. She was getting into it," an insider said.
The lavish Royal Botanic Gardens gala was a far cry from the humble backyard barbecue she was treated to earlier in the day, when she surprised an Earlwood family with an unheralded visit.
Long-time Aussie fan Liz expected just a camera crew after Harpo producers took her up on an offer to visit when she met the star at her Chicago studios two years ago.
But Winfrey fitted right in, noshing on tabouleh, chicken kebabs and salads - all washed down with a can of VB.
It was part of the billionaire's desire to taste how real Aussies live. She also tucked into tacos with a Toorak family on Friday after her Melbourne civic reception.
And with show tapings less than 24 hours away, she took time out to check the Sydney Opera House forecourt, where they'll be recorded.
