ANTIOCH -- One man was killed, another wounded and the gunman remained at large early Thursday in a shooting in the parking lot of an Antioch 7-11.
Antioch police were asking for help in their investigation of the shooting that left a 23-year-old man dead and a 34-year-old man hospitalized with gunshot wounds.
Carl Henderson, of Antioch, was pronounced dead at the scene after being shot in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven store at 1101 E. 18th St. around 12:20 a.m., according to police.
Nestor Bellegarrigue, also an Antioch resident, fled into the store after being shot and was taken to a hospital for treatment, according to police.
The hospital was not being named in order to protect his safety, police said.
