Non bay area promoters in the bay?

I don't get it when I see posters and other bull shit wrapped around poles out here in the bay that aren't even bay artists. I seen about 10 50 cent posters wrapped around some poles on a corner in east oakland and that shit made me sick. But you see that shit everywhere. I barely see any bay area promotion on the streets anymore and to see some out of towners get more promotion out here that is some straight up bull shit.

Them niggas got it like that, because the radio stations help sponser that shit. I know in Sac, Mixxula who's on the radio had his own team. They'd stripe the whole city in one nite... just too bad it was for out of towners. The point is to tap into shit like that and spend a lil. Lace the yung'ns up and send em out. I've seen Black Market Records use chics to distribute propaganda, and niggas flock to them hoes. I feel ya tho, I'd like to see more homegrown music striped thru the city.

Im not that surprised. A major label has a bigger budget to take care of the street promo game while most of the bay rappers are too cool to promote on the streets. I produce a Bay Area Hip Hop television show and you wouldnt beleive the attitudes of some of these known and unknown artist.

If I was a entertainer I'd be a self promoting Hog, if there was a New Popeyes Chicken or Pizza Hut opening up, INSTANTLY I'd be there rappin and eating for free.

There'd be no Indian reservation without my sticker on their Teepee.

i myslef am a street promoter...ive solicited my services to EVERY single major artist in the bay and a few of the up and coming cats...bottom line is, they dont understand that if they shell out the money for promotion (if they even have it) that it will make a world of a difference as far as sales and branding theyre image and or label
