I am sorry man, I have come up empty for you. I thought it might've been Ellie's Love Theme by Willie Hutch at first thought, but that's not it.

It's clearly of the more jazz variety, that genre I'm just not as familiar with as the old R&B / Soul stuff.

One jazz Syke sample I will tell you about that you've just got to have is the one for "My Life" off of one of his older albums. It's a song called "JoJo" by Boz Scaggs.
