Buzzing New York rapper Saigon has been signed to Atlantic Records for quite some time, which is where he is supposed to release his highly-anticipated debut, The Greatest Story Never Told, but there has never been an official release date for it.

Despite a heavy buzz and backing from multi-platinum producer Just Blaze, his career seems to be at a stand still and he's not very happy.

In a recent blog posting on his official MySpace page, Saigon lashes out at the label, calling it "a home of ringtone making artists" and further threatens to leak the long overdue debut to his fans if Atlantic doesn't step up and release it.

"Not to worry... my fans WILL hear my entire album very soon, whether [Atlantic Records] put it out or not," wrote a frustrated Saigon. "If they don't, I will and let ya'll be the judge of if the music is GREAT or not."

According to the rapper, he feels that because his album is not negative in nature, the major record company isn't getting behind it, because they feel -- in Saigon's mind -- that it won't make them money.

"I'm beginning to think that being my album is geared toward the betterment, and not the destruction, of my people, the powers that be don't wanna release it..." the rapper explains. "Unfortunately... They only care about [money]."

Saigon revealed that snippets of his debut can be previewed on YouTube and that he plans to release a new track titled "What A Life" featuring Tre Williams to hold his fans over until he figures out when his debut is coming.

But, he did say that either way (with or without Atlantic Records) he will release The Greatest Story Never Told this summer.
