no offense or anything homie but you gotta spend more than 10-15 minutes on a painting ...

10 hours and i couldn't even finish it

Is your painting done in oil cuz that shit takes forever to dry, not to mention that youre painting a still life....acrylics more for painting fast.....I never spent more than an hour on an acrylic painting....

BTW nice painting!

if its fun then do it by any means. i tend to overdo things anyway. you might already do this, but i always sketch out thumbnails and do color studies before i break the paint out. makes for a better painting no matter how much time you want to spend

i like colombos better..always like his shit, i love artists who don't pre think shit too much and just do it off top

art isn't math but hey if you have a particular way of doin it then by all means

the flower painting that was posted on here looks like one of those typical ones you see in art class where everyones painting looks the same...

i feel ya LadyTrajik. that one was my first oil, i was just trying to learn how to mix colors and what not. i apologize for the lame content, it was for school. i probably shouldn't have posted mine in here anyways cause it was columbos thread in the 1st place... ill shut up now!
