I'll be a technician installing a new service coming out later this year called U-Verse. If you heard of it great, if not it's a new cable service and everything will run off internet protocol. Also you're telephone line and internet will all be in the same bill as well as your cell phone, if you have AT&T.

Just excited :classic:

Also they said they're looking to hire more people so if I get more info I'll share it you guys.

That's dope. Will their tv cable service be able to hit more people since it's all ip? I'm stuck with my only option being Charter at the moment. Love their internet but cable tv sucks. I was with Direct TV for the longest but the apartments where I'm at forbid satellite dishes.

nuthin against you personally bro but AT&T sucks... man, their digital phone line doesn't even have a battery backup in case of a power failure... not everybody has a cell phone to fall back on... thats one thing that's good about Comcast, their phone has battery backup and they even deliver a new battery if it's an extended outage...

also, Comcast phone is voice over intranet, not internet, so there's no interference because it's all done through their private system, no latency & shit...

also, they're working with Sprint to offer an integrated home phone / cell phone, so you can be talkin on your home phone and leave the house to go to work, still be on the same conversation except it transfers to a cell signal... cool shit

within the next year you're gonna be able to be thousands of miles away from home at a hotel or some shit, dial up your DVR at home, and download your saved movies / programs from it to view on the hotel's TV... more cool shit

not to mention 100 mg internet comin within the next year... download the history of the world in 2 minutes...

what's AT&T at now, 1.5 mg's?

lol

like I said, nuthin against you bro, but they're behind the ball on alotta shit

good for you on gettin a job that you feel happy about.

I just ditched my at&t cell phone because cingular and at&t can eat a dick. I had more dropped calls on their network than any other.

I know this thing you said is all internet and all but I dont wanna go to at&t ever again. ANd it isnt new.

T mobile currently offers a cell phone that turns into a home phone once it detects your home wireless network. Acting as a hotspot and will not drop calls. Its good for me cause I live in a brick house and service is real bad in it. With this kind of service I would always have a connection in my house but why pay ten bucks more for something that only helps a little.

I have U-Verse already. The connection used to go out all the time because comcast would be grimey and fuck up whatever they have set up outside. It works fine now though. And it's cheaper.

You don't need any experience just gotta be over 18 and have a valid drivers license. Didn't need a resume either.
