his newest album was nominated for all kinds of Grammy's (haven't looked if he won any yet) and it's one of the best albums of 08 by far, especially if you like vintage motown style r&b/soul

he also won a grammy in the last couple years for one of his various albums and has been working with all kinds of people like Stevie Wonder, he's doing it hella big. his new video is on rotation and he's been on a lot of talk shows and stuff.
