anybody with macbook pro. i need help with idvd. i'm making a slideshow with audio with close to 600 pics of my dad and fellow submariners in the navy.

i've checked for errors and i can't find anymore than i already had. the problem is everything has to be rendered and everything all that goes through but once it comes to burning i can hear the dvd spinning but after it pops out there are no burnt threads on the dvd itself so i know it didn't burn.

i've tried 5 times i'm on my 6th and i gotta do the whole thing over again so it's just under an hour each time.

is there any common problems i should be looking for or is there a way i can skip all the steps up till the actually burning?

any help would be appreciated.

Maybe you can try to render everything and save it to a folder and then burn that folder with another program like Toast-it?

you guys are assholes telling him to put sand in his dvd burner.

you know goddamn well it has to be a certain kind of sand, or everything will get fucked up.

what you need is parabolic sand.

it comes directly from U-shaped mounds of sand with convex noses trailed by elongated arms that are parabolic dunes usually found deeply located in the Sahara desert.

If you place just a small portion ( just about 1/4 teaspoon ) directly into the dvd drive itself, turn your system on holding down "option + S", this will get the sand spinning in the right direction, which will clear any of the ion particles out of the way that might be preventing you from doing your burning directly.

once you turn the system on while still holding the option + S buttons, press enter, & then close the lid, turn your system upside down & let it sit for no less than 5 minutes.

dude, you will be cleared right up in a jiffy.

you can thank me later, broski.
I got the heads up of that sand in handy little 1 dose packages. Made by Mike Mansons sex slaves.

You can paypall me if interested :siccness:

found out the problem by burning to disk image to bypass all rendering steps.

it says "failed to calibrate laser level to disc." tried to burn at lower levels and everything. i'll try to burn a smaller file some other time. it burns cd's fine. a lot of other people had the same problem on the apple support site. they all said to use compressed air to the disc slide and it worked perfectly. i did it a few times and it didn't work.

hopefully i can burn a smaller dvd. it would just suck to know i have the option of dvds that doesn't work?

stayed up till 3 for two nights in a row and ended up with a headache and strained eyes.

yall so predictable..your moms pussy feels dry ha let me try "sand".

is there still that limited picture limit on idvd? i remember i ended up putting the slideshow together in another app that came with toast, then saved it as a movie file and imported that to idvd so i could use their layouts.
