^I'm as big a Nas fan as anybody else (have actually bought every album he put out) but Street's Disciple was hella disappointing. Anyway, Scolla seemed to be reaching on a lota that shit he was talkin' about... I completely understood what he was saying, but some of it was just too murrch.

God son was his last good album, i kinda stopped listen to Nas after i noticed he was just talking shit and not backing it up. Nigga aint doing nothin for nobody but he preaching and trying to be a street critic, that dont fly with me at all.

He talks a good talk but for all the shit he says you would think nigga would do some of the shit he expects the people listening to his music to do.

Anyway move this shit outta bart.

the link aint puttin up the artical, nas be speakin on sum real shit especially things i can relate to how things be happening in life

i feel like he is what rap should be,cats nowadays dont even be rappin,i remember when it was about telling stories and thoughts about life rather good or bad, nowadays cats just wanna get on wax and rap about this and that type shit or how much they got somethin and how they can kill the whole block up,that shit aint rappin thats why the market is so oversaturated.there is a reason why there is a bigger market for authentic hip hop and gangsta rap,its 2 different realms, not to say i like one over the other, its like ying/yang but at the same time the flip side of this rap shit is dangerous and can get you caught up. i apprecaite cats like nas because he gives you the best of both worlds, just like tupac and king freako...and to "black and proud" i dont see how u can be a big freako fan but not like Nas,thats kinda of hypocritical in its own way,it is what it is tho, maybe im just trapped in deep thought,im real spiritual so it could have sumthin to do with the ways i interpet certain things and peoples reactions and rap artist rhymes...
