BARE WITH A BROTHA A COUPLE MINUTES, DIDNT MEAN FOR THIS TO BECOME THIS LONG... BUT...

I'VE JUST OFFICIALLY BECOME FED UP WITH THE INDUSTRY. I MEAN, I LOOK AT MUSIC TELEVISION STATIONS & I LOOK AT AWARDS SHOWS AND ALL THAT SHIT, AND I JUST DONT GET IT. IS QUALITY EVEN A CONCERN THESE DAYS??? MOST OF THE ARTISTS THAT ARE OUT NOW ARE SO FUCKING LESS THAN A "HYPE" ITS RIDICULOUS... I WATCH BULLSHIT LIKE DJ UNK & MUTHAFUCKAS THAT JUST EMERGED 2 WEEKS AGO IN THE INDUSTRY ON BET AWARDS SHOWS AND TRL AND 106TH & PARK, AND I START TO FEEL SICK TO MY STOMACH. IT ISNT LIKE I LISTEN TO THEM MUTHAFUCKAS ANYWAYS, BUT PERSONALLY... DUE TO TECH'S DOWNFALLS HAS REALLY AFFECTED MY SUPPORT OF THE INDUSTRY IN THE PAST FEW YEARS.

I USED TO BUY A NEW CD EVERY COUPLE WEEKS BACK IN THE DAY. HAD OVER TWO FULL CD CASES FULL OF CD'S THAT WERE ALL STORE BOUGHT, AND I STARTED TO REALIZE WHAT THE FUCK I WAS BUYING WAS BULLSHIT. I BOUGHT THEM FOR USUALLY ONE SONG AND USUALLY WITH HOPES THAT THERE WAS A FEW MORE CUTS TO JAM TO... 75% OF THE TIME, THERE WAS USUALLY ONE MORE AND AS EQUALLY THERE WAS NO MORE TO LISTEN TO... I WAS BUYING BULLSHIT. I LISTENED TO TECH, WOW THIS SHIT IS SOMEHTING I DONT HAVE TO KEEP REACHING FOR THE CD PLAYER AND PRESSING THROUGH 8 SONGS BEFORE PUTTING THE CD BACK IN, IT WAS SOMETHING I COULD LISTEN TO FOR MOST OF THE ALBUM. SLOWLY I STOPPED BUYING CD'S BECAUSE IF A NIGGA THAT I KNOW PERSONALLY NOT BECAUSE I KNOW HIM BUT A NIGGA THAT I KNOW CAN BRING MORE HEAT TO THE TABLE THAN THESE MILLIONAIRE INDUSTRY CATS, SOMETHING IS WRONG. MY NIGGA AINT BEING SUPPORTED AND OUT THERE, THEN FUCK EM. SO IN THE LAST 4-5 YEARS, I'VE ONLY PURCHASED ABOUT 5 ALBUMS OUTSIDE OF TECH, VERSUS BEFORE THAT I'VE PURCHASED THAT MANY IN A MONTH OR LESS.

THERE ARE A SELECT FEW ARTISTS THAT CAN PUT IT DOWN NOW... T.I., LUDA, THE GAME, CHAM, JEEZY JUST TO NAME A FEW BUT THATS NEITHER HERE NOR THERE...

MOST OF MY FRIENDS THAT GET INTO MY CAR WILL SEARCH FOR A CD CASE AND ONLY SEE TECH N9NE CD'S AND THE REST BURNT, AND BE LIKE, DAMNED NIGGA ALL YOU LISTEN TO IS TECH... NOT NECESSARILY, THATS ALL I FUCKIN' BUY. AND IT SEEMS KINDA FUCKED UP TO THEM AND I UNDERSTAND IT BECAUSE THEY THINK ITS ALL BECAUSE I KNOW HIM AND USUALLY STUPID NIGGAS THINK THEY HOMEBOY IS THE BEST RAPPER IN THE WORLD AND 99% ISN'T BUT I AM PROUD TO SAY THAT TECH IS THE ILLEST NIGGA OUT AND FUCK IT IF I KNOW HIM, THATS MY GOOD FORTUNE AND IF YOU DONT LIKE IT FUCK YA!

I FIND MYSELF HIGHLY CRITICIZING RECORDS WHEN THEY COME ON THE RADIO AND PEOPLE THINK THAT I'M BITTER BECAUSE I'M NOT ROCKING TO A "HOOK & A BEAT"... I EXPLAIN TO THEM THAT THIS SHIT IS ONLY SURFACE MUSIC, BECAUSE STUPID ASS KIDS THESE DAYS LIKE THEIR MUSIC BROUGHT TO THEM IN THAT MANNER... THEY LOVE IT WHEN A NIGGA SAY'S, "I'VE GOT 24'S ON MY RIDE, AND A PLATINUM CHAIN." <--NO THOUGHT NEEDED, ITS ALL ON THE TABLE, SO ONCE YOU HEAR THE SONG YOU FIGURE IT OUT SO THE NEXT TIME YOU HEAR IT, THERES NOTHING TO IT. THEY USUALLY SHUT UP AFTER THAT BUT AT THE END OF THE DAY... ITS REAL TALK... MY HOMEGIRL REALLY DESPISES TECH N9NE, AND WHEN I HEARD HER TALK ABOUT HIM, IT WAS OVER SOME OLD MUSIC BACK IN THE DAYS SHE DIDNT LIKE. SO SHE'S HOLDING HIM TO THAT SHIT. NOT SURE WHAT IT WAS BUT SHE WASNT DIGGING IT. I TOSSED IN EVERREADY, PLAYED "THE RAIN," I PLAYED "WELCOME TO THE MIDWEST" I PLAYED ABOUT 2 OTHER TRACKS BEFORE SHE EVEN KNEW WHO IT WAS... SHE LOVED THAT SHIT... I TOLD HER IT WAS TECH N9NE, AND SHE WENT OUT AND BOUGHT THE FUCKIN' ALBUM AND NOW SHE ONLY LISTENS TO "THE RAIN" AND SHE DONT EVEN KNOW THE HISTORY OF TECH N9NE LIKE THAT SO THIS SHIT IS THAT FUCKIN' POWERFUL...

It was funny when you was talking about ya boys looking in your cd case seeing everything burnt but the n9ne, that has happen to me. I feel you man all the way through. And with the girl friend thing, I got her to become addicted to n9ne too. The funny part about that is, she started listening to all the old shit and she changed her mind just by doing one thing.....LISTENING (she even bumps hellbound, WTF). Yo man, I feel the exact same way. These dumb ass rappers all over MTV are a joke. Every word out of their mouth is some ignorant, unintelligent garbage. I fucking hate Southern rap. My biggest dissapointment though has to be The Game.The West Coast savior. I thought the Documentary was a great album but Doctor's Advocate makes me wanna puke. I was really hyped for it too. This album is basically a love letter to Dr.Dre mixed with a bunch of lyrics about stereotypical West Coast shit. Completley unoriginal. He said he wrote the song "Its Okay(One Blood)" in 15 minutes and it sounds like he did the same for every other song on the album. I read on a message board the other day someone saying that they'd pick The Game over Tech N9ne any day cause Game was real rap and Tech was just bullshit. I guess this shows you why they play what they play on MTV. People can't be bothered with shit that makes them think. They'd rather be horse fed some simple, easy to learn shit.

My daughter has a toy he is a dog and he teaches you number, letters, colors, etc.. But the reason I bring this up is. The song Chain hang low well on this damn dog he sings a song and he says
Do your ears hang low do they waddle to and fro. and it sounds the same as chain hang low in a sense of they way the words words sound.
LMFAO when I heard that shit I was laughing I sware one of their kids must have had one of these damn toys and they make a song out of it and the shit gets played on the radio. WTF we cant even get radio to consider Tech that goes to show you how fucking stupid these kids are these days.

Same shit for Chamillionaire... that foo dropped tons of cds before he finally got recognized. So dont hate on em... Cause the same shit could be easily said about Tech N9ne... Its the peoples choice!

kinda like what Tech is doing... only difference tech didnt make it to the public eye yeat. He had it at a time but not lately... who knows bout to bubble might be the new 'thang'. CAN U THIZZLE LMAO!

but at the same time you gotta realise that people change, at the beggining youre the underdog and youre a small timer, youve got more going through your head and you will write deeper shit, but once you make it and all you do is party, fuck hoes, drink yer liquor and hang out in clubs, youre not gonna have the same state of mind you did while you were in your $20 studio, its been said before, and the statement will stand, money changes people, tho i still agree with maszive 100%, and mostly its not even the rapppers to blame for it, but the audience, i just wonder how this audience doesnt get tired of every single rapper talking about the exact same thing, and i think in maszive's list of ok rappers, the game should be replaced with ray cash, i think his cd was one of the best ones in 2006, highly underrated, even tho the first single was shitty

lol what's funny is that most of those artists talking about their "bling" are fucking poor because they're getting pimped by their record companies...they get a chain for the video or to wear out in public, but they don't own that shit and they don't own their own music for that matter...hopefully tech can set the standard for what is considered good music instead of following what other people think is good

i can relate to a lot of this, but mostly about the part of people thinking their friend is the best rapper around because he can freestyle for 16 bars or came across some decent beats. now when i was in high school i got a lot of people asking if i would work with their friend because i was known for throwing down a pensive verse every now and then, but i was a pretty good engineer with shitty equipment. and this rapper who i didn't know well would just suck, he might have a couple bars that were funny or somewht thoughtful, but overall these guys would suck, and if you got honest with someone they would tell you to go fuck yourself.
