Murders in Philly is out of control

as of July 14th Philly already has 210 murders,give or take 1 or 2...shit is a warzone..
i did a thread about this last year towards the end of the year,in which philly had 380 murders in 2005,,,looks like were gonna pass that w/ ease...
mufuckas is dropping at a crazy rate...i lost 11 friends lastyear,,and 12 so far this year...i lost count of how many people i knew that got killed in the last 10 years,,how the hell does this go on,,the city aint doing shit about it,,there are soooo many guns in our streets its ridiculous,,i know(personally) a group of 13-15 year olds,(bout 8 of them),who ALL carry heat on the daily basis and will popp ya ass in a split second..Nobody fights w/ fist no more..

on a side note, i was reading through historical crime rates for the city of St. Louis.... in 1993, that city had 267 homicides, and only had a population of 380,000 people.... thats fuckin wild

You should look up a little city by the name of East St. Louis in Illionois...now THATS a wild lil town right there....

East St. Louis is one of the most crime-ridden cities in the nation. According to FBI's data of 2004, its murder rate hit 63.4 per population of 100,000, surpassed that of murder-infamous cities such as Camden, New Jersey (61.3 per pop. 100,000), New Orleans, Louisiana (54.5), Gary, Indiana (52.6), Richmond, Virginia (47.0), Baltimore, Maryland (42.4), Detroit, Michigan (40.5), and Washington, D.C. (34.6). Their data also showed East St. Louis' very high rape rate, which exceeded 200 per pop. 100,000.

The only reason i bring this up...is i used to stay not to far from there when i was younger...some of the most run down projects youll ever see are in E St Lou....grimey....

east saint gets like 18 homicides a year, but thats a shitload for a city with only 30,000 people
