ha i just seen that yeah hes was strong armed. but come on i think of it as that whole battle is a joke. everyperson that battles on their has the same style but are from all over the nation. that tells you that MTV producers chose the certain type of battlers that the viewers want to watch. Then they all and i mean ALL are spittin 75% prewrittens. thats sooooooo obvious its sad they dont even try and hide that. dont get me twisted a few of these cats can spit punchlines with the best of them but the recklessness of the way they spit prewritten lines is sicking. and last but not least its all decided by a 99% 13-18 year old pool of white kids. and thats why swan who unlike locksmith beat the shit out of everyone in EVERY ROUND by such a large margain it wasnt even close. that guy that won it this year barely beat the cat in the second and his last showing in the ring was a joke he was obviously shook and rattled by swans first verse. he never recovered . he fumbled his lines. spuit weak punch lines man anyone that seen it will agree he lost. But to me as a cat that wrights and records shit from the heart and trys to keep it real and dark in my rhymes. Its a testment to the underground that thank god sites like this and mixtapes give us a voice. cause its obvious that if the mtv viewing audiance that voted couldnt get their white winning mc they took the closest shade they could get. i hate to say that im white but its true as shit cause no 68% of anyone else could hae reaches that vote

I thought that dude blind fury was heated. He was the only fool to talk about Rugers and shit like that. Probably lost cuz he wasnt too marketable.

yeah blind fury came the tightest lyrically IMO. I think they just didnt want to deal with his blindness and how he couldnt really move that well

blind dude was dope and u gotta give it up to him but like sway said in the battle there are no charities. say what you want but swan destroyed every opponent and so did locksmith....


reign man i think is dope as fuck same wit dude from miami, but when i say they got destroyed im not taking anything from them i just think both champs for the mtv mc battles shoudlnt be champs.

SAD DAY FOR HIP-HOP IN GENERAL

Not to throw any water on this fire, but isnt this something you already know....MTV is like that....lets let suburban white america pick our next hip hop gimmick. I cant believe roca-fella records even roled with this one....Im not racist, but i felt like there was a lot more white artists on than ethnic cats.....hip-hop is fading yall...its becoming something it was never intended to. Engulfed by corporations and by those who want to get paid....I am sad to see this happen, but you can blame success of HIP HOp to this outcome....nothing good stays pure for too long...
