I've been promising this for a while, I finally got my shit together on yousendit. If this and my snippet creation program works out, my extensive NW collection (now over 400 albums) can start to become an asset for this board and not just something I mention (brag) about every now and then.

As most of you know, Len Kapone was a Central District rapper who died tragically in a shootout outside a club in Seattle a couple years ago. He was not a particularly well known local rapper but there are some hidden gems on his cds. This track, a rugged, loud Seattle anthem, is one of those. Clearly the sound quality and professional equipment is lacking here, but I think the song has a great beat with hungry, emotional, passionate lyrics. It's one of my all-time favorite songs.

B/c he's dead and his family's not exactly receiving royalties from his musical career, I have no qualms posting this up even though I know it does not belong to me.

Here is the YouSendIt URL, I hope this works. Check out the song and let me know what you think. RIP Len Kapone

Yeah he was notorious that's what I've heard from lots of people.

No the song is not on Koming Up With Eternal Fire, it is on a double album called "Behind The Walls." This is something he obviously put together with a computer program with everything from the cd label to the album cover. It is VERY hard to find, nobody here will ever find it I tried very hard for a few months after my car got broken into and I lost that CD. I even had people call his mother's home (this was about a month before his death). So if anybody stumbles upon the CD it'll be a miracle but this is the best cut on there by far so just enjoy it you'all and keep his memory alive a little bit.

I heard he used to beat the shit out of Corey Dillon when they were kids, lol, now there's a pretty tough dude.
