Midi Question

I just recently coped a midisport 2x2 and got it hooked up to my midi keybord. it works coo but the only thing is that the pitch and modulation wheel are delayed when I use em. Like if i move the pitch wheel fast up and down, my software responds slow, but the keys respond fast, no latency at all. So my question is how can I correct this sluggish controller? the nobs on my keybord are sluggish too. I am using reason 2.5 with this keybord.... thanks everyone.

Is it sluggish if you put your finger on the highest note on your controller and run it down to the lowest note real fast? Are you using a USB midi interface?
