MASTER P has ripped off people forever--"The Ice Cream Man" was originally DRU DOWN and THE LUNIZ' concept. The worst offender was MP DA LAST DON. He out-and-out ripped off song concepts and whole lines from TUPAC! "Dear Mr. President" is a ripoff of "Letter To The President", for example. The sick thing about it was that he didn't start out doing this, as his classic (and genuine) '94/'96 Bay era CDs show. HE WAITED UNTIL TUPAC WAS DEAD, and he figured we'd be too stupid to know that he was using unreleased, bootlegged tracks from the MAKAVELI bootlegs that circulated in '97!
I still love hearing YUKMOUTH rip P apart on "Regime Killers 2001" and on C-BO's "Spray Yourself." Also, there's a track on THE DELINQUENTS' 2001 comp "The Dominion" (the decent one, with the red cover, NOT the green one which is mostly recycled) by HITTAZ ON DA PAYROLL called "Fuck 'Em One Time", which contains a diss or two to P. LMFAO! I still play the '94/'96 No Limit CDs, but God knows he's probably got enough money to retire. P should "Remember Where [he] Came From," like CELLY CEL once said. PEACE!
