For all the Bay Area folks who got on me for saying that two years ago (calling me a racist among other things), the dude just pleaded guilty to a hit & run out in Buffalo. He hit a lady driving through an intersection and drove off.

Why is this not exactly a nominee for the shocker of the week?

No definitely it's not the worst thing that could happen. And I'm not going to be a hypocrite and say I wouldn't want him on my team when the likes of the great Lofa Tatupu have gotten in trouble this offseason.

But I just find it hilarious and somewhat vindicating that he now has a traffic related misdemeanor (one that involves injuring somebody) after his little ghostriding performance with the Gator cart on the field after Cal beat Washington in overtime a few years ago.

I was like "I don't have a great feeling about this guy" and then all the Bay cats jumped on here w/ their "you're just saying that b/c he's black and has gold teeth and is from East Oakland" bullshit.

I dunno exactly what you said about dude before

but if you were saying you had bad feelings about him because of that performance with the cart then I think you were judging him based on some bullshit

I thought that shit was funny when he did it

From all the times I've seen him in interviews and everything he seems hella cool, and like a funny ass dude to kick it with

just because he fucked up doesn't mean you weren't wrong to judge him

again, I dunno exactly what you said, so I'm not sayin you were wrong, but I'm just sayin you may have been still

i understand you wanting to call him a bad person after this. But what has he ever done before this to be labeled that way?
and what was wrong with jumping in the cart. he got excited. he didnt run anyone down in the cart.

Yeah, thats your side of the story. I love how people are so quick to CHANGE what actually happened. You called him a "thug", which hm, i dunno, may strike some people out in the bay as being "racist" or whatever the fuck. YOU jumped to the conclusion and now are so happy to have a reason to vindicate your judgment. well good for you, i hope you feel so much better.

edit: if you had actually said "i dont have such a great feeling about this guy", then you may have an argument. but u didnt.
