Over the past couple of years there have been albums released in the bay that are equally as hot as those dominating the mainstream.

The Jack Artist
DisoBAYisH
Bandannas, Tattooes & Tongue Rings
The Street Novelist
Son Of A Pimp
The Instagator
Federation: The Album

Notice there are no Mac Dre albums here, why? Becuase the last several releases from Mac Dre seemed to be more of mixes than actual albums. The albums listed seem to have a incompletness about them. Mac Dres last albums has MANY songs with 2 verses and a feeling of incomplteness about them, gives me a rushed feel. But this is my opinion.

Same here. Actually it was the first rap album I have ever heard, that has has a continous feel throughout the entire album. The entire album had a mellow, gangsta feel to it. Even the love songs had that mellow gangsta feel.
