I think Mac Dre is the king of California rap in my personal opinion, for the simple fact he's been doing it so long and continues to make hits, he needs to get a little bit more credit, people act like he's a Clown rapper, he can make comedy shit since he's already proved himself. yadidimeannnn, Pick Treal TV up,

I agree. Of all his albums i think that Mac damnit and friends was the only sub par one. He's a comedian on the microphone
Agreed. That CD had a few decent songs: "Mastered The Game", "Ology", "Beautiful Cousin", "P-U-S-S-Y", "Mac Believers" (mostly for the hook), and "Ashowagwon." But the rest of the songs just sounded rushed and unfinished...If MD and the others had made the verses longer on a few songs and raised the energy level on the production, MAC DAMMIT MAN AND FRIENDS might have been better...

As for AL BOO BOO being pushed back, I don't like it anymore than anyone else here, but hopefully the November 4 date will stick...

PEACE!

Mac Dre is DEFINITELY due for a solid cd. I got a real good feeling about this one. Ive always loved Dre's music, but I feel like some of his albums were either rushed or badly recorded or not all effort, namely Mac Dammit and Heat of a Gangsta.

Like I said though this one should make up for those efforts.

It's no classic, but it's solid if you're an MD fan--7.5/10

what is everyone's thought on thizzelle? i thought this was one of his best albums.....had some sicc ass beats and lyrics
Well, several songs could have been engineered better: the bass on "Han Solo" and "Big Breaded" sounded like it was turned up higher in the mix than necessary.

But yeah, there's some cool songs on TW--"Monday Thru Sunday", "Stuart Littles", "Help Me", "The Mac Named Dre", "Boss Tycoon", "C.U.T.T.H.O.A.T.", "The Thizzelle Dance", "Dollalalala Lotsa Paypa", "Soon Lama" (skit), and the unlisted bonus track are my favorites. The only song that I can't get into at all is "Rap Life" (awkward beat).

Basically (as w/ Dubee's unjustly maligned TURFMATIC), if you're into "serious" CDs or if you're still stuck in the '92-'96 era, THIZZELLE probably isn't your CD. But if you don't mind music that's fun and still street, THIZZELLE will grow on you. IMHO, part of being a fan of any Bay rapper is understanding where said rapper is at in his CURRENT life, not his life in the early-to-mid '90s.

Not a classic, but cool. You probably won't "love" THIZZELLE, but give it a chance and you'll at least "like" it. Just my view, though...
Can't wait for AL BOO BOO! MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

PEACE!

Good talkin SAV. Not a classic, but a great cd. Stupid Doo Doo was classic. Then again, in the big picture, anything Mac Dre does is classic.

But that damn Dubee cd is oooooofffff the hook. Eeuhhhhh!
