Three 6 Mafia founder Lord Infamous is recovering following a heart attack and stroke he suffered from earlier this week.

Fans were updated on the condition of Lord Infamous through Tweets made by several artists including Gangsta Boo and Juicy J.

“About to go see lord at the hospital..i grew up with him..i will always be 3 6 mafia..always,” said Gangsta Boo in a Tweet.

Details on Lord Infamous’ condition and the specifics of his heart attack remain sketchy, but Juicy J informed fans that Lord Infamous is currently recovering.

“Lord infamous is doin ok,” Three 6 Mafia’s Juicy J Tweeted on Monday, June 21.

Lord Infamous is well-known for his role in the formation of Tennesse-based group Three 6 Mafia. He’s currently the co-CEO of Black Rain Entertainment.

Three 6 Mafia is one of the craziest groups to ever do it. I loved a lot of their material. It just blew me away about how open they were in telling cats that they did coke. I mean I expect it from rock stars but rappers talking about it so freely blew my mind. Three 6 Mafia were kinda like rock stars in a way. They really tried to push the envelope back in the days.

Guess all that blow really caught up to him

And not to shift the discussion of the topic, but Gansta Boo was on Twitter a couple months ago talkin shit about Paul and Juice and it takes Lord to have a heart attack for her to say "I'm still 3-6 forever?"....But hey if this is a wake up call to get 3-6 back together, good shit but I aint tryin to raise my hopes yet

Lord Infamous Suffers Heart Attack, New Release Pushed Back
Memphis rapper and former Three 6 Mafia member Lord Infamous is currently working on his fifth solo effort, Futuristic Rowdy Bounty Hunter, to be released via his own record label, Black Rain Entertainment. Due to the rapper recently suffering a heart attack and kidney failure, the release of the album has been pushed back, and a date is not yet set.

Featuring guests like T-Rock, Gangsta Boo, La Chat, Skinny Pimp, Nasty Nardo and more, Futuristic Rowdy Bounty Hunter is led by Lord Infamous, with II Tone and Enigma by his side.

Futuristic Rowdy Bounty Hunter will mark the fifth independent project from Lord Infamous since he broke away from the rap group Three 6 Mafia. His first solo project, Lord of Terror, was released as an underground tape in 1994, and his second album, The Man, The Myth, The Legacy, dropped in October of 2007. Last year saw the release of both After Sics and Blood Money.

As a founding member of Three 6 Mafia, Lord helped propel them to win an Academy Award in 2006. His violent, often horrific lyrics are one reason behind the "666" in the original name "Triple 6 Mafia." Although he continues to collaborate with members of the group, he has recently been focusing on his own endeavors.
