Here's a logo I enhanced for a friend last night. I did his logo a while ago. He's a digital printer so I wanted to incorporate the RGB (how most digital printers rip). He's finally gotten to where he NEEDS it in vector. I'm homing in on my Illustrator skills so wanted to give it a try. It actually came out cleaner than the original Bitmap version. I'm digging Illustrator!

When I had it, I couldn't do shit with Illustrator. I eventually got frustrated and jus deleted that bullshit. How yall muhfuckas can make shit with it is a wonder to me.
Im kinda gettin the hang of it. I can use the pen tool, but its the other tools I have a problem with. I can draw any shape I want, but its the colors and blending I have a problem with.

First, Practice with the "Paths" and "Paths Tool" in Photoshop a lot. Once you get a hang of how it all works, Illustrator is very similar to PS, VERY. Even the layers, blending modes, filters . . .

It's really nice to be able to click shapes and adjust color on the spot instead of selection-fills and stuff.

At first i used to not consider illustrator and found it intimidating and got into Corel Draw first (which is still worth while to learn) but am just encouraging, once I've learned illustrator, it's been well worth it! I'll put up some other Illustrator stuff later.

Solid design. I'm assuming the version with the wire mesh appeal is for standard black & white stuff?

Regards
Well, I didn't think of it that way:
The link is the same I used to have the client proof. The wire frame preview is more for the purpose of "Vector" proof. Just to kinda show them it was generated in Vector, how they required it.

thats is hella clean. I've messed with illustrator a bit and it is a great program. I had to make a selfportrait in it using the gradient mesh tool it was pretty much my first time making something in illustrator. I'm defently going to use illsutrator more in the future. I use alot for text lay out on cover and stuff but it has much more to offer that just that.
