my mom threw a glass bowl at my sister(11yrs). it didnt hit her, but when it shattered against the wall, some of the glass pieces hit her. she wasnt hurt real bad but she had cuts all over her legs.

anyway, she asked me later, after i had taken her to her dads house, why i hadnt called the police. i had a hard time explaining to her why i couldnt bring myself to call the police. keep i mind that Arizona ALWAYS takes 1 person to jail in a domestic case. anywway, how would you explain something like this to someone younger than yourself? would you have called the po po? your advise please....

Tell her through thick n thin, family still family. Police aint family an by callin the police u just hurtin yourself, and the rest of your family.

I never call the cops...WHO THE FUCK HAS BEEN TEACHING HER THE COPS ARE GOOD GUYS? My kids call me, fuck that 911 shit, all corrupt and never helped me out, always fuck me over even when this girls called them on someone else i get in trouble cause they have to make something happen, long story basically FUCK THE COPS... WHO THE FUCK IS TEACHING THIS KID THAT THE POLICE ARE GOOD PEOPLE?!?!?!??!

Third. Id tell her the whole deal how cops arent on your side. The best thing to do is to talk to your mom about it.

I think you should explain to your sister that you understand where she's comming from ... but involving the police would only make things worse. Calling the police on family is going to cuase alot of trouble and will only make the family situtation harder to deal with.

I think YOU know why you didn't ... just tell her the truth. You have your personal reason's for not doing it.
