Laptop charging help

My old laptop is having trouble charging. So I replaced the old charger chord with the a new one and still no improvement. Can it be the battery that is located in the laptop? anyone else ever have that problem?

it still charges just a little bit though and has to be in a certain postition

that happen to my old dell, its probably the connection on the end of the plug in, I just ordered a new ac charger on ebay. Worked fine after that.

^^ yupp thats prolly the case if its only charging in a specific position..same shit happened to me..i cut around the end of the plug and found that the silver wire had been cut, so i rejoined the two ends and secured it with electrical tape..shit worked like a charm

yeah i bought a new charger seemed like it work better than the other one. I dunno i thought maybe the battery was bad. thanks for the helps fags
