No, eminem made comical shit commercial, there have been hella other rappers before eminem to do the same thing who are underground, that's NOT ORIGINAL. you can credit eminem for exposing white american taboos as original. But now that he's done it, it ain't original anymore is it? and the entire south has ALWAYS been doing "the crunk shit", jon and 36 made is popular, again, NOT ORIGINAL. i haven't heard anything original in years.

e-40 has an original style, but he's rappin about the same shit everyone else is.

you're either rapping about how gangster you are, reppin your 'hood, talkin about what you see in the streets and glorifying it, talkin about what you see in the streets and not glorifying it, talkin about how hard you hustle, talkin about how your so connected in the drug game and move big weight, glorifying some drug you love to take, how much alchohol you can down, talkin about horrocore shit, talkin about how great you party, how many hoes you fuck, how much money you make, how many people you smashed, how much you love your bitch, how much you hate your bitch or anyone else for that matter, what you would do for your bitch, how the moon, sun, stars align, how much you love/hate god, how your back pack is so great, blah blah blah, sometimes you make an attempt at being original and talk about your best friend who is really your gun and you expect people to give you hella credit for being original and metaphorical... yeah that's real complex metaphorically... what else do people touch on? how shitty their childhood was, how crazy they are, come on show me someone who is original.

again, i say, no one is doing anything original in their music. everything has been touched on because there is only a finite number of human emotions and thoughts... you can't even rap about the colonization of the moon without being unoriginal and classified as a backpacker. its been said there isn't an original thought out there and when it comes to rap music I agree. no new topics have come to light in years. you're either rappin about being negative, or rappin about being positive. rap about being neutral and you're original. lol
