The state of nevada doesn't collect personal income tax, neither does florida and i think texas. If you're paid, it makes sense to make those states your personal residence.

damn straight. in addition to the income tax thing, houses in vegas are stil dirt cheap compared to the bay / LA, cali real estate is fuckin stupid... you can buy a PLACE out there for the price of a house in cali
