This guy has improved tremendously from his older stuff, the album has 16 songs all very listenable, my favorite cut is "Mexico" that shit is smoking, this is a guy who's not talked about a whole lot on this board but this album is probably about the 5th or 6th best album to drop from SEA this summer behind the Crytical, Loco, Framework and Boom Bap Project. This guy's right there, go cop it at Best Buy Northgate people.

I gotta speak!!!

I've known Yuns for sometime and we have had mutual friends. He gave us a track for our Northwest Hustlin' compilation that I liked alot but I was never really up on all of his music....til the other day.

My good friend, and mentor the legend Rob Nonies gave me a copy of Yuns album to check out and I have to admit that I felt like the record would be good but just average. I WAS WRONG!

The album had a major label feel to it without subscribing to the trends of today's over saturated "gangsta rap" meets "get crunk" marketing ploys.

The production is on the next level and I like that the album is over done with typical features. The guest vocalists stand out and the album is arranged well. It sounds like a veteran A&R man put this record together.

At any rate, for what its worth, I dont lend my approval or endorsement that often but I think Yuns has what it takes to go to the next level of this rap shit. Sort of on some Everlast meets Dave Matthews meets...I dunno but its hot.

Hollar at the dude and cop this record, its worth it in an otherwise dull marketplace.

That was some real big shit to say homie. I appreciate the feedback on the record and I am glad you liked it. Hopefully the rest of the people on the forum will see what I was trying to accomplish with this record and just take it for what it's worth.
