Hey don't get me wrong, I wouldn't of been mad if the decision went Toney's way but those scorecards are very suspect. It just depends on what they were looking for, Toney landed the flashier faster punches as well as more counters than Peter while going back, while Peter landed the harder more effective shots while moving forward, so it's all preference. As far as Peter/Maskaev there's no way that can be sold as PPV worthy. Neither would Toney/Maskaev for that matter although it would do better numbers.
The 116-111 scorecards are complete bullshit and that's with a point deduction, that'd be 9 rounds to 3 for Peter and the only way I see that fight scored is even or 7-5 one way or the other.
