He isnt even the best in the leage, what happens when him and brady go heads up? a qb is the leader of the team, and the best qb is the one who leads the qb to the super bowl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think Peyton Manning will go down as the best QB to ever play the game. But as of right now, he has a lot of work ahead of him, like winning a super bowl ring. He could have easily thrown for 8 touchdowns in this game today, maybe even more.

i dont buy that nonsense, the difference when brady faces manning is, brady faces a horrible defense, manning will face a defense that is the main reason that team won like 21 in a row, a shitload of those games were close games...give manning a degense like bradys, theyd completely anhaliate every team in its way, its not fair to put a whole game on mannings shoulders...put brady on a team like the cardinals, like the bears, even the colts, i doubt hed be as succesful, as for him being a clutch player its true, but i garuantee you theres a lot of players playing on shitty teams that never will play in the playofffs, but given the chance could shine also.

i put manning light years ahead of brady, i forgot to mention that manning pretty much runs the offense or could wihtout the help of any coach or coordinator, can brady do that for the duration of a game, a season?

manning wins games where the scoring resembles your madden games w friends, brady wions those one TD games were anything goes, for manning and his oddense to keep up with the shitty defenses giving up pts after pts, thats more.

AND THATS REAL!

I agree with a lot of what you said, but this inparticular. The Colts can go an entire game running no huddle with Manning at the helm; the way he runs the play-action, and when he hands the ball off out of the shotgun just tears defenses apart. He is doing all of this at a reletively young age, and he's only getting better. He runs like 5-10 fake audibles a game, doing whatever he can to supress the defense. It's intense to watch him take over like that. Great quarterback.

you arent the best until you win something. thats just the way it is
Not when you play on a team of 10 others at one time.Peyton is a GREAT quaterback.HE BY HIMSELF can only do so much...he needs the others step up and make plays...

If Peyton broke every QB record ever recorded but never won a chamopinship...he still wouldnt be the best at his position???Just cus you dont have rings, dont mean youre not the best at your position.

he is obviously very good but i dont think he will last long enough to be considered a great. he puts his body at risk too often

Just to clarify a few things,
a ring means jack!
It's longevity that counts. I think that's what most of you cats are tryin to say when ya'll say that he needs more time.

Remember how everyone jumped on Kurt Warner's bandwagon?
Sayin blasphemous shit like "He might be the best ever"....
Well where is he now????

Greatness is achieved "after" your career is over. Until then, you cannot judge him yet because he's still writing his book.
Right now Manning is a good quarterback who is ahead of anyone in the game.
Lets see how it all unfolds in the end....

A ring may "mean jack," but what about 4 rings, as in the case of Joe Montana?...I see what you're saying, I mean, even Trent Dilfer has a ring, but you can't say that Montana fluked his way to four rings...as far as I'm concerned Manning has a loooong way to go before he's fucking with Montana status, who I consider to be the best QB ever.

What kind of question is this? Best QB ever? What? Right now he's the best in the league but who ever asked this question obviously never seen John Elway or Joe Montana play.
