Is looking at playboy a sin?

Ok so some chritains and godly people think looking at playboy is a sin. But the bible says having sex with a person before marragie..
and having sex with someone other than your marrgaige mate is a sin...

But no where in the bible do I see: Thou will not look at lucious babes in Playboy. Unless clothes cover breasts....

That is like saying looking at a bottle of wine is a sin. How can you get drunk just by looking???

All men struggle with lust, any man that's says he never has is a liar. It's a sin because when you defile your mind, you defile the soul and temple of God. Thanks for those scriptures. Yeah I know even church going men look at porn. They try to pretend like they never have. But you know they have. lol

Thanks you have brought some good points to my understanding. They never went over this with me at church. They used to just say porn is bad because we say so. I like when people show me the scriptures with the spritiual menaing behind things.

I guess all men are sinners then, because those feelings are natural and whether you love someone or are married you can't stop yourself from feeling a certain way about/admiring another woman.

You aren't grasping the philosophy behind what a "sin" is. I talk about it in your other thread about sin.

You can't get drunk just by looking at alcohol, but your mind can be consumed with thoughts of enjoying the alcoholic experience. Similarly, the mind can be distracted with thoughts of sexual enjoyment.

Read my response in your other "sin" thread to understand the significance of the above.

There is no concern over being possibly gay due to one not being aroused from looking at a Playboy magazine, because at that point there is no distracting lusty thoughts. And sometimes an image will not affect us immediately. Sometimes one will see an attractive, nude or close to nude woman in a picture and not have lusty thoughts until later that day, or week, or whatever. Sometimes things sit in the mind idly before they take fruition.
