Philthy Rich did the same thing with My Block: Welcome To Sem City.
There's positives and negatives to both ways, however I still think it's in Fresh's interest to have The Tonight Show on there (and the interests of D-Lo, Young Gully, etc..)... cause that's promoting his brand to all the fan's of whatever artist he's working with.
If all of Mitchy Slick's fans now recognize "The Tonight Show" name and go get the other tonight show's as a result... It probably generates more dollars and name recognition than the fans having to check the liner notes (if they even did buy the CD) to find out who produced it, and then looking up DJ Fresh on google and accidentally gettin the wrong DJ Fresh..
Depends on the level of the artist though. Both methods benefit different people in different ways.
