There are several reasons for the delay.
1. When Sarkastik first came to me about the project....it was already done. But.....we went through the album and decided to dump half of it and do a bunch of new songs. So.....we ended up doing about 10-12 new songs.....which with my recording schedule took some time.
2. I was on the verge of completing the album when I had a huge break up with my girl and had to move.....and I basically haven't had my studio since September 1st.
3. I have 2 verses to record and it's DONE.....then it's off to mastering and then off to the printers! So it should be droppin' in the next 2-3 months.....we'll see.
Other than all that shit......things change all the time. I really wanted to get the album out a year ago.....but SLR was embroiled in controversy, betrayal & bullshit and everything was just plain fucked on all levels. I'm just finally puttin' the pieces back together and basically startin' over. Things are gettin' better.......and GOOD THINGS are coming to SLR......ya'll will see soon enough. :classic:
