Is “packaging Hyphy” just as faulty as that New Bay qweef that bubbled up last year?

I think I get what your askin and I think my answer would be yes.We need to find a new thing already, true the Bay always been on our own thing but in the eyes of others "hyphy" will just look like party music which everybody and they mommas is already doin cept under a different name and our own sound. We went from stupid,to dumb and now errbodies retarded and ridin yellow buses.K thanks but where the fuck we go from there? We need to get back to makin some fuckin classics, shit that sounds like it took some thought and time to make, the party shit is coo but 10 years from now,the way things is lookin now I dont know if I can look back on an album from now the way I can say, look back and think of a classic like Illegal Buisness, feel me?

what i'm asking is:

With the mild success of The Federation and their effort to market themselves, their region, and their unique flavor of music to the MTV/Mainstream Hip Hop audience, as "Hyphy", will the other artists from the Bay, on the up, conform and market themselves too as "Hyphy Artists?."

Because if so, that "packaging and conforming" would parallel that New Bay movement that saw some success last year.

here's what i think it comes down to

you can make HYPHY songs.. without having to say the word HYPHY or GO DUMB ... IN THE SONG or having it in the title
no disrespect to any songs that have done that already.. im just saying.. we cant have hella songs called "dummy dummy" in 2007.. it just wont be a good look

theres plenty songs from all over the nation that the bay falls in love with because of they basslines and club feel.. and they never mention goin dumb or gettin hyphy

it cant be the subject of every bay song on the radio.. or else it gets real boring

when 3x was sayin hyphy in they songs and OGs would say it thru the turf.. i never even really tripped off of it.. until the word was brought into what it is now

talk about sumthin different

I feel what your saying... and yea, i think other new artists in the bay are jumpin the hyphy wagon...

but what i think needs to be done: stop copying, dont try to think of another gimmick, just come with some real ideas that YOU think of yourself, that's when the best music comes from, originality.
