you played valkyria chronicles, it's an SRPG but the story is still good

I'm pretty disappointed that cry on got canceled, it felt like blue dragon and lost odyssey were practice games for this. It looked gourgeous.

Valkyria was amazing but considering the games he mentioed were 360 exclusives i think he was looking for a 360 game

Yeah, ME is like KOTR, but to me that's a good thing. There were some parts about ME that I didn't like, but for the most part it was a solid game with a nice story to it. As for tales of Vesperia it all depends on if you're into the Tales series or not. If you are, this is going to be right up your alley and they toss some new things in. If the series isn't you're thing and you think it involves button mashing pass it up. If FF12 was your thing you might feel at home with this one as you can set your team on autopilot and have them do everything. The downside of this is you don't get points for your "grade" at the end, and grade will come into play when it comes to certain parts of the game.

There are a lot of weapons, items and armor that can be found, purchased and synthesized, and the moves and combo links look tight. It's a good looking game, but besides the giganto monsters, the enemies don't really offer much of a challange. What I don't like about the game are the english voices (Carrols voice will make you want to commit suicide), how some of the cut scenes in the game have no dialog while others do (I heard this was because of translation errors and not being able to get the actors back in the booth), parts of the story (either you can see it coming or it simply sucks) and how the game opens up for full exploration right before the final battle.

Replay value is extremely high on this one as there are achievements and items that can only be earned once you beat the game and reload the old file.

I'd give it a solid 8.

am i the only person that liked lost odyessy?

not trying to say its a great game by any means but easily one of the most enjoyable JRPG's i played on 360. i would put it above last remnant, infinite undiscovery and even tales of vesperia

i was a huge fan of the tales series and think that was my problem with vesperia,it didnt really offer anything new to the series. i was expecting an overhaul for the next gen consoles and it is pretty much a clone of previous installments. again, not a bad game,i played the shit out of that game, would definitly agree with a solid 8/10. just think my expectations killed it for me. most people i know that rave about that game never played any other in the series

ign gave star ocean a 8.0. they said the dialouge and story were the downsides. the combat is the stong point, along with a lot of side things to do and collect. as long as the gameplay is good i can deal with some shitty voice actors and story. just means i will spend more time grinding...cant wait to play it

Never played Oblivion but Fallout 3 is based on future possibilities its as real as it gets when it comes to survival, you are too much into this fantasy cartoony shit too much.
some people just dont like western RPG's. has nothing to do with how they look, its the gameplay
