I think Chris Johnson would be mentioned before Young.
Why? Before Vince started, CJ had only two 100+ rushing yard games...since VY has started, every game has been 100+ yards, including 200+ yard rushing performance.

So has Vince made CJ better? If that is indeed the case, why should CJ get the nomination when VY has made not only CJ better, but the team BETTER (5-0)?

i thought of vince possibly getting nominated since the team hasn't lost since he got his position back. he seems to be extremely valuable to his team. i think him and cj could get nominated.

I think the fact that he hasn't played the whole season would actually hurt his chances because his stats won't compare to other candidates. Also Chris Johnson is setting records right now.

CJ wont break dickersons record this year, unless he manages to put up 200+ yards in the rest of the games

No way are the Titans running the table and getting into the playoffs. But, if they somehow do get in after starting 0-6 then Vince Young HAS to be considered for MVP. Like the year Steve McNair won Co-MVP with Peyton Manning. McNair didn't put up huge numbers but he definetely deserved at least a share of the MVP award.

It's a pointless argument tho because it won't happen.

man, all vince young does is win. That game yesterday was the shit, that final drive was amazing. I've always been a fan of vince young and I'm glad to see his game elevating to the next level.

Same with the Titans, liked them since the Eddie George Air McNair days.

I LOVE Vince Young as a player, but he doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of getting MVP, even if he does run the table... not with Favre and Brees playing like they are...

if Favre keeps playing like he's been playing, he's got it locked.. 24 TD's & 3 INT's?? fuckin incredible.. if Favre falters some and Brees keeps playing like he did tonight, it'll go to Brees..

but definitely not VY.. he's got my vote for comeback POY tho
