I was just thinking how good we have it as fans that the bay isnt blown. How we are able to chop it up with dudes like Quinn, Federation, Ray Luv...all of 'em. When I went to that show at the Santa Rosa JC there was one dude sittin on the steps with Quinn choppin it up...one dude. You dont have a billion teenyboppers hounding these bay area superstars. Its more like a family type feel to it all. ..a beautiful thing how we've got it

i sorta agree with you....i mean at the guce/messy/celly cell autograph session...u could aprroach all of them straight up and chop it up with them....i was "damn",,,,"aint that sum shit?".....

it was a real relaxed environment....no one really thinkin they too big to talk to fans..

u still will be able to talk to bay cats as they continue to blow. thats what makes the bay different. u see any of these cats at any given time and majority of them are all approachable.

i live in nyc and it's pretty much the same out here. i was in front of def jam last week and chopped it up with kanye west for 10 minutes and nobody even shouted him out. i run into cam, jim jones, juelz, cassidy all the time, and every now and then someone will ask for an autograph, but for the most part mst peeps shout em out and keep it movin. nyc is funny though cause everyone walks everywhere so u bump into cats left and right... plus i guess it helps that i live right accross the street from def jam, murda inc, motown, and about 10 other labels....

bay rap is real. yup, i notice that too. hip hop from the yay does got that common family connection atmosphere which a lot somehow knows each other's cousin, went to the same school, struggled in the hustle on the same block, and got street smartz that is more edgy than any other. the bay is world famous for being political,so a lot of it rubs off on the lyrics. but i do agree with other that the bay is the kings of this underground hustlin'. f*ck the soundscan.
