I need help with digi001

1.i dont know what you mean by playing your computer sounds out of your digi 001. That doesnt make sense to me man. What exactly do you mean?
2.The midi issue can be solved by connecting the midi OUT of the mpc to the midi IN of the digi 001. After that connect the midi IN of the mpc to the midi OUT of the digi 001.
3.Go to the midi set up and find MIDI BEAT CLOCK. make sure that you have DIGI DESIGN MIDI boxes CHECKED.
4. ONLY DO THIS IF YOU DONT SEE THE DIGI DESIGN MIDI CHECK BOX. If the DIGI DESIGN midi stuff is NOT showing up you need to find the MME REFRESH file and click that. After you click it REBOOT and repeat step 3. The file should be in your pro tools directory most likely the driver section.
I don't know why it's recording but make sure you dont have the punch in mode enabled....maybe thats causing your problem i dont know.
If you want more info on pro tools hit the DIGI DUC. I dont have the link right now but you can find it if you hit google and do a search for DIGI DUC.

^^^^ how is that link relevent to pro tools? are you suggesting he buy that?

1st off did you read the direction book before u installed the digi001 pci card... i had troubles setting my shit up and had to go back and set it up using the directions . then you'll have to install both the wavedriver 1st then the asio driver when you install the asio file it will say it will conflict with wavedriver click ignore then reboot and install the wavedriver again. that should solve your problem. the wavedriver is installed by adding a new sound hardware. then youll have to set up your appz(cdplayer,cubase,FL,acidwhatever you are using).... It took me a few trys to figure it out , but it can be done.
