yeah, I totally agree with you that alot of the teams that the Big 12 got into bowl games didnt deserve it...actually they got 8 teams in.....Texas Tech, Kansas State, Texas A&M, Iowa State all didnt really have years worthy of bowl games but they got in.....It all stems back to these days they have way too many bowl games, I think I counted last year and there was like 25-30 bowl games, what type of shit is that, that means that like the top 60 teams get to play in bowl games....which is the equivalant to half of the D1 teams.....I wish they would go back to the old days where there was like 15 bowl games, it was hard to get in a bowl game........But I do agree with you, I was just throwing out the 8 outta 12 stat because it was a good arguement stat :)


also the Big 12 used to be the Big 8 not the Big 10......please dont confuse my conference with the weak ass Big 10...I would never disrespect the Pac 10 that bad

amen.....I would give anything for a Tournament with like 16 teams....that shit would be cold as fuck, plus it would make the football season that much more competitive because each game would mean a whole bunch since you would be fighting for a 16 team slot. I dont see it happening anytime soon but I think it would be soo damn fun to watch that shit, would rank up there with the 64/65 team tourney in Basketball

I say that because teams like Kansas St who went 6-5 overall (3-5 divisional play) got into bowl games along with Iowa St, A&M & Texas Tech getting in with a record of 7-4 overall & they all were 4-4 division! I think there are just too many bowl games now. A team can barely break .500 & get into a bowl? Ridiculous.



I dunno though folks...the Big 12 (when it was the Big 10) was DOMINATE.

#1.wrong,they have Paul Arnold,and in his first year as a 6"2 wideout with 4.38 speed,put up comparable numbers to R.W.,Also Justin Robbins 2000 freshman all-american returns after missing last year.Yes..ALL AMERICAN. Charles Frederick will be a sophmore(made freshman all-amer punt ret.)He was the #2 recruit nationally at wideout behind Reggie,So actually it's by far the deepest recieving corps in the Pac-10,and one of the best nationally...don't read it,watch it....magazines are fun,but facts are better.

#2They big 12 gets that many teams in because of contract...like every big conference.Has very little to do with being good.we agree

#3 This is the biggest joke,after 1988,Oklahoma (Jamel Hollaway)vanished.Colorado was great(also,JJ Flannagin,Kanavis McGhee,Alfred Williams)and Nebraska was great.2FUCKIN TEAMS

Should have been the BIG-2 because the rest of the season they were IDLE.....IOWA ST,BAYLOR,K-STATE WAS THE WORST TEAM IN D1,OKLA ST.W/O THURMAN AND BARRY..LOL,MIZZOU..LOL,KANSAS

Paul Arnold? Folks...that nigga had less than 650 yards receiving (ok 649...I just looked it up right now), they SHOULD'VE kept him @ tailback, lord knows the Huskie's need one. He's talented no doubt, but he doesn't really put up numbers every game. & Sorry...but most D1 corners run 40's in the 4.3's too so what are you sayin'? Most top HIGH SCHOOLERS run 4.3's.
Justin Robbins? He's a question mark & far from 100% (isn't he still rehabbing?). He COULD help....IF he is healthy.
Frederick? Huge POTENTIAL but until they put him on the hashes who knows how he'll perform @ WIDEOUT. If he plays receiver as good as he returned punts then the Huskies are definately in a good position.

You have some strong points & I know its your team, hell I like the Huskies...but the majority of what you are sayin' is basically YOUR own personal PROJECTION...& that you are entitled to. & I don't even read magazines, I am speaking on what I've SEEN.

don't get shit twisted and think that i don't know about college football....and yes, there are people here who think the pac-10 is the best....

....last year, did oregon get fucked over??..yes

...but overall really..year in and year out...none of the pac-10 teams are consistent enough to be in the title hunt all the time.....that's the problem..if every year they had a team like oregon putting up that good record...then they would get noticed more...and how colorado got the big 12 title...i dunno...well, i do know..they way they killed nebraska...but still, they were overratted to be playing in that game
