I've been curious about everyonez opinions and just trying to gain some knowledge from a fan's perspective on how artists sell their albums. I get people hitting me up all the time on the streets with flyers or saying they got the next big thing that is gonna run the industry. What separates yourself from the next rapper? If I'm at a show or club how are you gonna get my attention and prove that your cd is worth my hard earned dollars?

Drop your thoughts.....

Since I work and live in Sacramento (Arden area), I get people seems like almost daily hitt'n me with a flyer or a burned cd. Smart thing this one cat did, T Reezy, he was standin out by Tower Records and would have you actually put his cd in your player and listen to it. It turned out to be good, so I bought it. If I hadn't heard it, I wouldn't have bought it off him. That's one good way to sell unknown stuff.

Man, me, JimmyDaButcher, and Slops Conley went everywhere with our first album (Destiny's Testen Me).. We each had a walkman wit really good studio headphones. We walked dam near every mall lettin folxs lissen. And if they liked it they bought it.. We also bought displays and went to a hand full of liquor stores and sold em in the Excellsior District.

Dont miss those days at all.. But made us bread..
