I swear I can burn a whole day watching the history channel....and I did today. Been watching "Tales of the gun." And I just looked up and realized it is after 6:00PM. Maybe I should leave the house today. :paranoid:

History, Travel, Discovery, National Geographic, they're all great. Did anyone catch Oakland Fight Club or some title similiar to that on Discovery Times a few weeks back. If so, what was it about?

History channel gets old.

You can only see so many documentaries about World War 2 befor eyou fall alseep.

I used to be all about the History Channel, but now I VASTLY prefer books to TV.

The only TV I will not fuckin miss is Charlie Rose (When he doesn't have actors, directors, architects, or artists on)

Charlie Rose is hands-down the most intelligent show on TV. Maybe alot of you aren't at that level verbally or intellectually, but when you do get there, you will jock that shit too.

History Channel = the Hitler channel

The H channel shows over 40 hours of WWII/Hitler related shows a week. I'm sick of Hitler, I know everything about Hitler from his diet to his sex life.

70% of their programs are war related.

If I remember correctly, the H channel wasnt always like this but I could be wrong.

The History Channel used to be faaaaaar greater than it is these days. Now it's just a shell of it's former self that offers very little quality NEW programing. Almost everything new they put out these days is bogus.
