HIP HOP SUMMIT HIT ATLANTA IN 2003.
The First National Urban Hip Hop Music Festival will team up with Russell Simmons and Dr. Benjamin Chavis' Hip Hop Summit to cross-promote their events. The Hip Hop Summit is scheduled for April 11th. With UHHMF currently scheduled for April 12th -13th, 2003 at Turner Field in Atlanta. Early rumblings indicate this event will be one of the largest global festivals in the history of Hip Hop and Urban Music. Turner Field easily hosts 100,000 plus patrons who will experience live performances, exhibits, games, a new and classic car show and state of the art enetertainment. Join us as we celebrate our heritage and push to promote hip hop economic empowerment as well as unity in diversity by bringing together the masses for one of the biggest events in the entertainment industry. Shirley Franklin, the mayor of the City of Atlanta has given the event her full blessing and support.
