12:55 pm EST: You've got to be happy for the Colorado Buffs after landing Scout.com's No. 1 RB, Darrell Scott. Family was a big factor here. The progam has been through such much and for Dan Hawkins to steal this type of Calif. talent is a big statement about his profile as the Colorado coach. Scott should help send the Buffalo program directly back to the elite levels it has enjoyed performing at before. -- Allen Wallace

12:51 pm EST: Colorado has a great recruiting class already, as they had secured commitments from two top Scout.com 100 members in Lynn Katoa and Jon Major, but the big news just came in that Darrell Scott would be a Buffalo, selecting them over the Texas Longhorns. Scott is a program-changing type of talent at running back and should make an immediate splash on the college scene in 2008

He could have. Hawkins must be a smooth talker. Buffs showed a better side last season and with this class in a couple years they can be back up in the rankings.

Scott has an uncle he's extremely close to,that lives in CO.
Colorado ALWAYS has solid runner in the backfield...they just happen to be in a slump as a program...thanks to Newiesel. Ever since he left, that football program has been in shambles. Its no coincidence that this also happened when he left UW....things that make you go HMMMMMMMM!
