I'm so fucking sick of this "hater" movement that's going on in the game right now. It's like a nigga can't criticize or critique another nigga without being labled a hater. Take for example Shawty Lo. That nigga is GARBAGE at rap. ZERO lyrical skill. That's not hating that's an honest critique. Hating, would be me consistently talking down on somebody like T.I., despite all of his sucess.

My definition of hating is despite how sucessful, or proven a nigga is, you still find reason to throw salt. That means that everybody don't have haters like they think they do. Like that nigga B.o.B. and that song "Haterz Everywhere." Everytime I hear that shit I'm like this niigga is wack. Is that hating, or am I being real? RAPPERS....Stop justifying your garbageness!! If you suck, and everybody knows you suck, stop trying to say niggas is hating.

hating is when you attack a musician personally in my opinion. like people saying 50 cent is garbage because he snitched, its like, he didnt snitch on you or anyone who even effects you, and he makes some good music so kill that noise. lol, if you honestly think a person is garbage, and you state that opinion, its just that, it isnt hating unless you go out of your way to do it. like cats going out of their way to hate on solja boy in random threads, its like, if you dont like that fool, dont waste your time going into other threads and talkin shit about him, let it just exit your world until your asked about it.

I feel you bruh, it just seem like every rapper wanna say they hated on, when on da real they rapping skills is sub-par. Criticizing and hating are two totally different things, and the line between them is being blurred by these garbage ass rappers who act like they crave for haters.

Hating is when someone is jealous of you and tries to do whatever they can to bring you down. If someone gives you their honest about opinion about you and it happens to be something you dont like...it isnt hating. Like with this Lil Wayne movement...I get labeled a hater all of the time because of that. I say that I like the fact that he's getting his shine on and doing big things....but the dude is way overrated as a rapper. People say that's hating. Thats the mindstate of the rap game and lames everywhere.

That's because people do not use words properly and their meaning gets blurred with time

From being used to label people that hate you (because they're jealous or for no apparent reason), "hater" started to be used to label everybody that does not talk positively about you

With the same negative meaning though...

And so we arrive at today's situation...

yeah most people just crituqin rappers dont get labeled as haters......haters get labeld when you go into every thead about a rapper or person or even at the site of there name and you wanna make sure that EVERYONE knows your feelings about that person...

if your in more then 3 threads on the siccness about 1 person that you SAY you cant stand......then your a hater....or a punk ass bitch that dont got real things to accomplish in the day...

if you dislike the person so much why would you enter a discussion about said person in the first place?

if i dislike a person i aint even thinking of em on that level yuh know? people have a certain fascination with BELITTLING people......and its dumb

If this is directed at me and Lil Wayne threads (which I suppose it is) I can give you very good answer and I have done so many times so I will not go through another 500-word post that will not be read and understood by anybody who should read and understand it

If you want to take it as me being so desperate by not being able to win the battle against people's stupidity that I just have to go to each and every thread and "hate", feel free to do so. It is true that the battle against stupidity and ignorance is impossible to win...

tha word "hate" or "hater" is derived from tha old term "player hater." a player hater as they called it, was a person hoo found negative or disrepectful things about another person hoo through their community and overall society was percieved as a "player;"(hence the saying dont hate the player hate the game). after reaching its zenith in mid 1999(though peope have always used just the term hater by itself too), most of the users eventually cut the player part of the term off, leaving only the word hater.

there is no real strong or accurate definition of the word, because they're various meanings behind the word, depending hoo you ask. the line is slighty blurred between a "hater" and a person hoo simply expresses how they feel. one must intiate some type of thorough research before going further detail and explnation but the point is: JoNNy K is the greatest on this forum...yes.

Now I do agree with a few people who say artist call people haters just cuz people critique their music.

I remember getting into it with COS on here cuz someone made a thread asking who people thought was better out of COS & Loki. Most people chose COS but I and a few others said I we like Loki better & COS came on making a comment that if we think Loki is better then we must be drunk. When I responded that I like Loki better & that I haven't been feeling his shit in years he got offended talking shit for no reason. That's why if u ever see me & him get into it every so often on here it all stems from that thread.

Same with Killa Tay. I said he was average IMO he started talking hella shit as if I'm suppose to like his shit.

Hating is a negative emotional response to someone/something.

critiquing is a logical response talking about the flaws of something/someone -there is no emotions involved in that shit.

so if I say: "soulja boy isn't a good rapper because he doesn't pronounce his words so I can't hear his lyrics -making him a bad MC." That is not hating...now if I said:

"Soulja boy a bitch ass nigga, fuck that nigga... he cant rap" - that's hate. I'm so emotionally angry at the muthafucka that I can't even say why he cant rap, and therefore why I don't like him.
