Gonna go pick up an external HD for downloading Blurays to watch on the Ps3... But, I was reading it needs to be formatted to FAT32 for the Ps3 to read it.... And the max file size for FAT32 is like 4.5gigs? Anyway to get around this seeing as a bluray is more?

True.. FAT32 can't read files bigger then 4Gb a bluray is way bigger then that. But if the bluray you download consist of mulitple smaller files which combine bigger then 4Gb then it's not a problem.

I had the same problem when I downloaded big movie files for my xbox which is from Microsoft that can read FAT32 but not NTFS (which is a Microsoft based format) .. then I formatted the drive in HFS+ (or something) which is a Mac format, that format could be read by my xbox and supported files larger then 4Gb. ... weird....

You can try that if you have access to a Mac somewhere.. or maybe there are programs to do so for Windows.. and if not... Google is your best friend I suppose...

Naw man, I just hook my mac up to my monitor and watch the MKV files from there... no need to power up another machine to stream that shit... but I was wondering if you could play it directly from PS3. But it good you can play downloaded bluray rips directly from your ps3 HD though.
