i know G.Rice aint with Strange, but i figure this is the best place to ask. does anyone know whats been up with him?

i haven't heard much from him AT ALL! he still doing his thing, or is he done. last album from Tech, no G.Rice on it. figure, he was doing his Empire album with Panic,Luna, S.G.

but i still aint hearing nothing from him. last song i heard was called "Hot Sided" i believe with T9 on it. seemed like a freestyle.

but i was wondering if anyone knows if he doing any other albums. and guest apperances, or if anyone has ANY news on him at all.

Grant not being on Tech's ish shouldn't really be a surprise. He's only been on one (Anghellic). As for what he's doing now, "High Sided" was up on Seven's Myspace and it was said to be material for Rice's Solo Project. But that's all I know.

i heard he was working on a album and he got married. last time i saw grant was last year at a festival in lee's summit and he said he was working on a solo project and tech was at his pad in lee's summit recording right at that moment. his girl is so fucking hot too.

^^^Why didnt Strange ever sign him, thats a good question that'll never be answered bro. I wonder a lot of things right now, but I can assure you, even in my experiences, I still dont know the answers!!!!

they are a local Mexican band..

there is a spot called PR's that Grant is always at...
its basically 17th & broadway....1 block west of Jilly's...(so its not reallyon Broadway)...

im sure Grant will answer all the questions you need if you meet him there...

Wasn't it GRANT who wanted to distance himself from Tech so that he wouldn't become trapped in his shadow? Plus, along the way somewhere, didn't he also mention something about Strange being a "Tech N9ne Label," meaning that's it's main priority, so he wanted to do things on his own? If either of them are true, then it really wouldn't be Strange's fault he wasn't signed, but his own. Then again, wouldn't really be a "fault" at all, rather a choice.

I hear ya JL. It aint even about what happened from Grants mouth cause I know how he felt about being in the shadows, its just that there was a slew of artists waiting in line (if you catch my drift) that were one day just left in the dark.

Odd, because when I hear that verse, doesn't sound like he's bitter that he was Signed, but other things. But... that's not really something we should get into cause that seems to be an issue between Grant & Travis, so it's for them to figure out.

You know, that sounds like something anyone can say because it's so obvious that Tech N9ne is their #1 priority. But it also sounds like something other artists on label probably think about all the time.....
